Not All Car Headlights Are the Same!
Automotive lighting technology has seen tremendous progress over time. From traditional halogen bulbs to modern laser headlights, each generation has delivered greater brightness, longer range, lower energy consumption, and enhanced safety.
🔶 Halogen Headlights
These have been used in most cars worldwide for years. They are affordable, reliable, and easy to replace. However, they typically illuminate the road for a distance of only about 120 meters.
⚪ Xenon (HID) Headlights
These provide a brighter, whiter light than halogen bulbs. They help in clearly seeing road signs, lane markings, and obstacles. They can cast light up to a distance of approximately 200 meters.
🔵 LED Headlights
This technology is used in most modern vehicles today. They generate high-intensity light while consuming less power. They can illuminate the road up to about 300 meters ahead.
🟣 Laser Headlights
This is the most advanced technology currently available. Despite the name "laser," actual laser beams do not shine directly onto the road. Instead, a powerful light source is generated and projected onto the road via advanced optical systems. This allows for visibility up to approximately 600 meters under optimal conditions.
